one fine day

Brock and Sarah

Me with the kiddos.

We had such a good day. It was full of exciting things to do and see. First we woke up and ate breakfast and then we got ready for our day. (Joaquin even started going swimming at the local rec.) Once we were ready for our day, we ventured out to a cute little town by the name of Tooele. ;) We have been trying so hard to have a play date with our friend Sarah and her mama, Anna. Well, we actually made it happen today and I'm so glad we did. There was so much to do and see. The house they are living in right now is over a hundred years old. There are so many doors and "secret" passage ways to discover. I was telling Anna that this house seems magical in a way because it's so old. Like something out of a fairytale. They also have a huge front and backyard for the kids to run around and discover all kinds of things. The boys had such a good time visiting with Sarah and she was so nice to let them play with all of her fun toys. We can't wait to see them again!!!

I'm so happy that winter has finally come to an end and spring has finally arrived. It is time for new beginnings. It is time for us to learn and discover. Can't wait for the weather to stay nice so we will be able to spend a majority of our time outside rather than stuck inside watching Dora the Explorer or the Backyardagains or Diego. Yes, it is time to get up and off that couch and to start having some fun.

Yay! So glad you came! Sara loves her friends, and asked about them after you left. :) Oh, and you didn't even see Tooele. You only saw the even smaller farm community of Erda, in all its rural glory. Come again soon!
