The guys, Marcus, Tyler, Andon and Joaquin
Our weekend was fun filled to say the least. It stared out with us going down to the Boise river to have a good float. This happens to me one of our favorite summer time past times. The boys can't get into much trouble in a raft on a river! Plus they are entertained for a full two hours. We are thinking about buying our very own raft. Otherwise to rent a 4 man raft, it's $45 dollars a pop.
After our adventure on the river, we heard about the "Worlds Largest Rocky Mountain Oyster Feed." Oh man, this was a lot of fun....can't say it's going to be a tradition or anything but at least now we can all say we did it. If you have ever watched funny farm, there is a scene where Chevy Chase is eating them and makes a new record for the little town the movie takes place in. In the end of the scene, the waitress tells him he's eating sheep balls and he spits the last one he has in his mouth out . Anyway- because of that movie, I was always a little curious what it would be like to eat them....but I found out that these rocky mt oysters were actually of cattle instead of sheep. Either way, it's still pretty gross to think about. Not one of us, in our group, went back for seconds. Luckily all the money they raised went to the local volunteer fire department.
